The lidded Glasgow measure is easily identified by the convex shape of the lid. These measures can be found from the ½ gill to the quart, the ½ pint being a more frequently found size. This measure dates from the 2nd half of the 19th century. This measure is completely unmarked and has a soft gray surface, with minor denting.
