This 13” deep dish is marked by Jacob Whitmore who worked in Middletown, CT from 1758-1790. He is known for poorly struck marks and this is no exception. There are many knife marks from heavy use. We consider the condition of the metal as fair. Dishes are not easy to find from the 18th century. W 258.
