This “IC” porringer was made in the Boston area around 1800. The bowl is 4 5/8” d. Cast marked crown handle porringers are typical of the early Boston area. Very few die struck porringers have been found with a Boston origin. The condition of the metal and the mark is very good. This larger size bowl is not commonly found.
