This 9 3/16” d. plate is marked by John Skinner who worked in Boston from 1760-1790. Flat rim plates are much rarer than reed rim plates. There are owner’s initials of “C” over “M & H.” The condition of the metal is fair. The condition of the hallmarks are great but the lion in gateway mark is worn.
