American Pewter Teapot Marked

This teapot is 8” high. This type is called a double ender as the top half of the body is from the same mold as the bottom of the body. It is American and 19th Century. There is an unusual mark on the outside bottom, it appears to be a very small eagle. The inside is so clean, one would not hesitate to use it. The condition of the metal is fine.
