Boardman 4” Porringer

$850.00

Thomas Boardman was a prolific pewterer, working from 1804-1872. During this time he made a multitude of forms. Many porringers were made including this 4” diameter one, marked ”T.D. & S.B.”, reference #523 in An American Pewter Collection. This porringer has a New York or Old English handle with a bossed (raised convex dome in the interior bottom) bowl. The condition of the pewter and mark is very good.
