This brass rim mug was made in England in the 19th Century. The brass strengthened the top to prevent denting so if it was used for drinking or measuring, people would get their true measure. We have a quart, pint and ½ pint. You might like the set or one individual size. The quart is stamped with the verification mark of ER with a crown above and the county of “6” below. “QUART” is stamped mid body. The condition is very good. We have not polished the brass but it can be easily done if you want a shinier look. You can drink from it if you are strong enough to lift it when filled.
