Copper Measures ½ Gallon & Quart

These are early heavy copper American measures. The cone shaped measures are ½ gallon and quart size. The handles are tubular. We think it is because a heavier handle is needed when the measure was filled. They date from mid-18th century to mid-19th century. The measures are in fine condition. They make a set with the two measures listed next. The bodies are the same but with different handles.
