English Chalice 18th Century

This 18th century chalice is 9 ½” tall. It has no makers mark. It is engraved with the churches’ name. The top line says “Baptist Church”. The next line is not so easy to read. Looks like “A 1679” The condition of the metal is very good and the inside of the cup has some oxidation which can be expected with an early drinking vessel. There are no mends or repairs.
