Engraved Trask Tall Pot

$1,195.00

This 13” tall pot, J-262 was made by Israel Trask of Beverly, MA, 1807-1856. Reference #201 in An American Pewter Collection. Trask started out as a silversmith, hence his proclivity for engraving. His tall pots are usually made of sheet pewter, seamed vertically as is this one. The handle (when pewter) and spout, however, are of cast pewter. The condition of the pewter and mark is very good.
