Frederick Bassett Dish

This 12” dish is marked by Frederick Bassett who worked in New York City from 1761-1800. This dish has a great hammered booge. The condition of the metal is good with very good marks. Twelve inch dishes fit into most cupboards and are very collectible. The Bassetts were a prominent pewtering family. Frederick was John Bassett’s son. This dish has a strongly hammered booge which strengthened the metal.
