John Will Porringer

This New York handle porringer is unmarked but made by John Will of New York City. His working dates were 1752 to 1766. He is considered extremely rare. This is the same porringer that was written up in the bulletin in 2012, volume 14, number 8, page 25 “a key porringer by John Will” demonstrates how John Will modified the mold with a stronger hanger before he sent the mold to his brother William in Philadelphia. The condition of the porringer is excellent.
